Was invited to participate in the Hong Kong International band Festival 2005 and had a joint performance with one of the world's most elite brass quintets, BOSTON BRASS.

13th Asian Pacific Band Directors Association biennial convention in Cheju, Korea

Under the baton of Eric BANKS, OBE, former Wing Commander of the Royal Air Force Central Band, perform in 4th Macau Band Festival Opening Concert.
Invited by RTHK4 to perform in the Music Attractions Summer Band Carnival.
The HKFWO has the great honor of inviting the renowned musician Mr. John KOLJONEN to be the Principal Conductor of our newly established FESTIVAL YOUTH Wind Orchestra.
Hong Kong Premiere of the [Inner Light-Homage to Mark Rothko] by the Hong Kong composer, Mr Fung LAM, and it was conducted by the composer himself. Performed with the renowed Oboist, Mr Song-Lam YIU, in 2003 Annual Concert.

12th Asian Pacific Band Directors Association biennial convention in Guangzhou.
Invited as the Demonstration Orchestra for the QEF Talent Development Concert in Tsuen Wan Town Hall.
Performed with the renowed Hornist, Mr Homer Siu-Lam LEE, in 2002 Annual Concert.

Invited by the All Japan Band Association to perform in the 49th All Japan Band Contest - Miyagi Prefecture and Joint Concert with the Golden Award winnier Tohoku Gakuin University.
Performed in the Tokyo Disneyland.
The only overseas wind orchestra selected to participate in the production of a promotional CD by the Japan Music Publisher Music Eight.

Guest Performing Group of the 1 st Macau International Band Festival.
Chiayi International Band Festival in Taiwan.
Performed in the "Celebration of Hong Kong Performing Arts: A Tribute to the New Millennium" presented by leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Invited as the performing unit for the Band Conducting Masterclass by Mr Felix HAUSWITH, President of World Association of Bands and Ensembles.
World Premiere of the commissioned work" Festival Prelude", written by the acclaimed Hong Kong composer Mr Yuen-Hing YAU, in the Annual Concert 1999.

Performed in the Sydney Opera House in the 10th APBDA biennial convention held in Australia.

Guangzhou and Foshan Tour.
Took part in the production of a promotional CD, entitled "The Hong Kong Symphonic Wind Bands Collection" in which the [Prelude, Passacaglia and Fugue] and Ralph Vaughan Williams [Toccata Marziale] were recorded.
Under the baton of Ms Wing-Sze YIP, former resident conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, performed Gershwin's classic [Rhapsody in Blue] with the international renowned pianist, Miss Nancy LOO. In the same concert, the price winning composition [Prelude, Passaglia and Fugue] written by the Hong Kong composer, Dr Joshua WONG, was also performed and it was conducted by the composer himself.
